MAY 2016 CA EXAMINATIONS TIMETABLE

The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana wishes to congratulate all candidates who have written the Institute’s examinations under the revised syllabus. Undoubtedly, the revised structure and content, coupled with the study manuals have helped to improve the pass rate.

 

 

The following policy amendment has been made to facilitate student’s progression:

WRITING ACROSS ALL LEVELS

Candidates can now write papers across levels under the following guidelines:
1)    That, Level 1 candidate with only one paper left can add a maximum of 4 papers in level 2;
 
2)    That, Level 2 candidate who has only one paper to complete the level (if so desire) can write it together with all level 3 Papers;

3)    That, no candidate can write a level 3 paper if he/she has not written and passed all level 1 papers;

4)    That, no candidate can write a level 3 paper if he/she has more than one paper to write in level 2;

5)    IMPLEMENTATION DATE IS MAY 2016 DIET.

NOTES ON THE EXAMINATIONS
Please read carefully the examination regulations printed below:
(a)    Any candidate who fails to put down correctly his/her full Index Number will have his/her paper cancelled.
(b)    Candidates will be permitted into the examination room with their own battery operated cordless noiseless pocket-size calculators without print-out or memory capacities.
(c)    The examination regulations PROHIBIT a student from:
i.    Taking into the examination room or possessing, while in that room, any books, notes or other materials except that which has been authorized by the Examination Supervisor or Invigilator.
ii.    Aiding or attempting to aid another candidate, obtaining or attempting to obtain aid from another candidate.
iii.    Failing to obey any instruction from the Examination Supervisor or Invigilator.
iv.    Giving false or misleading information to the Examination Supervisor. The Supervisor is empowered to discontinue the examination of a candidate suspected of misconduct and to require him/her to leave the examination room.  Any student who fails to comply with the above regulations may be liable for such penalties as the Institute may determine.

STUDENTS ARE SUPPOSED TO CHECK THEIR INDEX NUMBERS OR AUTHORITY-TO-SIT ON THE INSTITUTE’S WEBSITE BEFORE THE EXAMINATIONS.
